Project Overview
Client: Zaid, a home textile importer in Saudi Arabia
Products: Four-piece bedding sets, towels and curtain textiles
Quantity: 4,100 sets and individual pieces
Order value: USD 29,500
Outcome: Better control over quality and delivery for the client’s mid-to-premium product range
Background
Zaid needed home textile products suitable for the mid-to-premium segment of the Saudi market. However, suppliers offering visually similar products often used different fabrics, weights, dimensions and workmanship standards.
Evaluating factories remotely was difficult, while inconsistent materials and bulk production created a high risk of purchasing mistakes.
Our Approach
Hinsourcing matched each category with suitable direct home textile manufacturers.
Bedding sets were compared according to fiber composition, dimensions, fabric construction, colors, printing, stitching and set completeness. Towels were reviewed for size, weight, pile, softness, absorbency and edge finishing. Curtain textiles were evaluated for composition, width, weight, drape, color, stitching and installation configuration where applicable.
Samples were verified before production, covering materials, dimensions, colors, patterns, workmanship, labels and packaging.
Hinsourcing also coordinated fabric testing according to the agreed requirements, including relevant areas such as composition, weight, shrinkage, colorfastness, pilling and towel absorbency.
After production, sampling inspections checked quantity, dimensions, fabric appearance, stitching, printing, set completeness, labels and packaging.
Goods from different suppliers were consolidated into one shipment, and sea-freight progress was tracked throughout transportation.
Results
Hinsourcing sourced 4,100 sets and pieces with a total order value of USD 29,500.
Products were selected according to Zaid’s local-market knowledge and target positioning.
Sample verification and fabric testing improved control over material and performance requirements.
Bulk inspection reduced the risk of sample-to-production differences.
Coordinated production and consolidation improved delivery visibility and supported the client’s expansion in Saudi Arabia’s mid-to-premium home textile market.
