Project Overview
Client: Lucas, an automotive parts trader in São Paulo
Products: Car floor mats, seat covers and vehicle storage accessories
Quantity: 2,600 sets
Order value: USD 23,800
Outcome: Successful delivery and strong sales performance
Background
Automotive accessories involve numerous vehicle applications, while the required quantity for each SKU may be limited. Different factories also apply different MOQs and production schedules.
Lucas frequently experienced delays, missing models and difficulty combining goods from multiple suppliers into one shipment.
Our Approach
Hinsourcing organized the purchasing list by product category and vehicle application. Products were screened using fitment information relevant to Lucas’s Brazilian market, including make, model, model year, body style, seat layout and installation dimensions where applicable.
Floor mats were compared according to pattern, dimensions, materials, edge binding, backing and retention points. Seat covers were reviewed for seat configuration, materials, stitching, headrest design, fixing components and set completeness. Storage accessories were evaluated for size, construction, attachment and basic function.
We compared quotations and MOQs using aligned specifications and coordinated samples before bulk production.
Hinsourcing then managed production schedules across the different factories. Finished goods were inspected for SKU, vehicle application, quantity, dimensions, materials, workmanship, accessories, packaging and model identification.
Goods were collected and consolidated into one shipment, followed by export coordination and logistics tracking.
Results
Hinsourcing sourced 2,600 sets with a total order value of USD 23,800.
Products were selected according to vehicle information relevant to the client’s local market.
