Project Overview
Client: Candy, a Malaysian gift wholesaler
Products: Seasonal decorations, party accessories and promotional gifts
Quantity: 5,800 sets
Order value: USD 15,200
Outcome: On-time shipment, encouraging sales and repeat orders
Background
Seasonal gift styles change quickly, and products must arrive before a specific retail period. Candy’s previous orders frequently faced sample differences, conflicting factory schedules and difficulty combining goods from several suppliers.
She needed a local partner who could manage frequent sampling, production deadlines, quality checks and consolidated shipping as one project.
Our Approach
Hinsourcing selected direct gift manufacturers according to their product specialization, current designs, sampling speed, MOQ, production capacity and ability to meet the seasonal schedule.
Working with Candy’s knowledge of the Malaysian market, we compared colors, themes, materials, packaging and wholesale price points.
Samples from different factories were collected and tracked centrally. We recorded the approved colors, materials, dimensions, artwork, components and packaging so that factories had clear production references.
Production was planned backward from the target shipping window. Hinsourcing monitored each supplier’s progress and coordinated finished-goods inspection. Checks covered design, color, printing, assembly, accessories, set completeness, packaging and carton markings.
Goods from multiple factories were collected, checked and combined into one shipment. Shipping documentation and logistics tracking were also coordinated.
Results
Hinsourcing sourced 5,800 sets with a total order value of USD 15,200.
Centralized sampling reduced the risk of using incorrect or outdated product versions.
Coordinated production follow-up improved control over the seasonal delivery schedule.
Consolidated loading simplified the client’s multi-supplier logistics.
The goods achieved encouraging sales after reaching stores, and Candy continued placing repeat orders.
